What you need after a heavy and fulfilling mean is a sweet dish that will complete your meal. Look no further just prepare this delicious recipe!

Preparation Time: 10 minutes approximately
Cooking Time: 30 minutes approximately
Serves: 8 persons

All you need

Mafroukeh:

2 cups semolina or kunafeh mafroukeh
1/2 cup butter
1 cup al alali Icing Sugar
1/4 cup grounded pistachios,
1/4 cup roasted and peeled almonds
1/4 cup roasted pine seeds
1/4 cup syrup
1 tbsp rose water

Kashta:

2 cups milk prepared from al alali Full Cream Milk Powder
2 tbsps al alali Corn Flour
2 tbsps sugar
1 tbsp orange blossom water
4 cups water
1/2 tsp lemon juice

Syrup:

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 tsp orange blossom water
1/2 tsp lemon juice

Directions
  • For the preparation of the sugar syrup, boil water and sugar in a pot, when the mixture starts to boil, add lemon juice, boil until thick, add orange blossom water, Set it aside to cool
  • To prepare the kashta stuffing, in a pot, dissolve al alali Corn Flour in a small amount of milk, add to the remaining milk prepared from al alali Full Cream Milk Powder and heat, add sugar, Stir the mixture continuously to avoid lumps until thick. Add orange blossom mix and set aside
  • To prepare the mafroukeh, in a pan, roast the semolina over medium heat for about 5 minutes,
  • add butter and stir until it melts and is absorbed by the semolina
  • Pour al alali Icing Sugar over the mixture and stir until dark brown. Add rose water and the syrup over the mixture, Stir until it forms a soft and firm dough, set aside to cool
  • Spread the mafroukeh dough in a serving plate, spread the kashta stuffing over it and sprinkle the roasted and chopped nuts, set aside to cool
  • Serve and enjoy!
